CAREER TRANSITION GROUP

We have supported a career transition group since 2008.  This group is designed to assist with searching for a new career opportunity, build networking skills, connections and connect individuals with potential employers.  The group is for individuals looking for employment, thinking of reentering the workforce after an absence, considering a career change or looking at a new oppourtunity. There are no prerequisites and applicable to any level, industry or job function

 

Building Relationships in Christ, this ministry to Emmanuel Lutheran Church is appropriat and supports two areas of purpose:

 

Ministry: helping those who may need or want assistance in a job search. That search could be for a career opportunity in the same job/same industry, different industry, different job, or self employment.  That is the choice, and many times daunting. "Where do I start...?"

 

Fellowship: Families help each other through the tough times and encourage them to grow, learn and achieve new things through our life

 

Presently we meet on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Each week we will focus on a different area of career transition, with oppourtunities to network, share ideas and help each other.  If you are thinking of starting a business, there will be oppourtunities for that also.
